Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

It Is The Future Of Clothes Washing

Submitted by radiojohn - 2/19/2018

We wanted to re-purpose a laundry room but this would have meant installing 220v power water drain and vent into another room. We had been reading about ventless dryers for some time and how they were standard in much of the world but not the USA. The idea of a combo unit all-in-one was the next step past that. It solved many problems for us. Traditional washers and dryers use a lot of brute force to get the job done. This unit will seem unconventional at first but trust me it works. It is as big a jump from the old tub washer and 220v dryer as automatic washers were from manual ringer washers. Estimated cost to use for a year? $15 in power First to dispel some wrong information provided by those who didnt read the manual: It does get clothes clean with minimum water gentle agitation and soft spin cycle. There are many custom settings for all sorts of laundry jobs. Second: It does dry the clothes Not damp dry or almost dry but dry. It does take longer to dry than in the rotating oven that was our old dryer but the clothes come out better. You need to note the half-full mark when drying for best results. If you have a family full of kids that forget to wash their gym clothes and need them in 45 minutes before school this may not be for you. But this unit is so quiet and does the job all at one time it does not seem so long. One critic stated it took SIX HOURS to dry. The timer starts with the worse case assumption and adjusts it down after a while based on some sensor. So it can drop from six hours to one very quickly. Another critic claimed there was no place to attach a vent. There is no vent thats what you pay for. Very little heat comes out and not much humidity. All front-loaders vibrate more than top loaders. If you have a thin/cheap floor you may need a pad or other vibration dampening solution. The large ring/gasket for the front door also acts as a lint filter and needs to be cleaned often even every time if you wash pet bedding. There is a default clacked open door setting to dry out the inside and prevent mustiness. Do it use it. There is another filter in the bottom that traps BIG things like screws and pebbles stuck in pants pockets. You need to drain the water out of it about a cup from a little hose before unscrewing it. This is only mildly inconvenient and is not done often. If you can handle the idea that the rules of laundry have changed since 1965 youll like this unit. If you have cats they may sleep on top of it while it is running

One and done

Submitted by Happy29 - 2/19/2018

I love being able to put in a load of laundry and not have to remember to put it in the dryer The delay start is one of my favorite features. I can put in the load before bed or before work and program it to start so the finished load is ready when I am. I have had to adjust to the long cycle time which is 3-4 hours long. I also miss being able to throw an item in the dryer for 5-10 min to get the wrinkles out. This machine needs to first complete a spin cycle which adds 15 minutes just to be able to start the dryer. One of the biggest complaints I have read online is the burnt rubber smell. I have experienced that as well but it is finally going away after about 20 loads. I have been satisfied with how dry clothes have been after each cycle unlike other reviews I had read. My clothes have come out more wrinkled that I would like especially jeans and other thick pants. It certainly helps when I pull them out of the dryer and fold them right away. Overall I am happy with my machine and am glad I chose this model.

Great Machine

Submitted by Ruffy - 2/10/2018

We had the previous model of this combo unit for about 12 years and it finally gave out. This unit is now discontinued by LG but we were lucky enough to find one at Home Depot. Works so much better than our previous one with many new features. As with the previous unit this is not for large families as it can take up to 4 hours to wash and dry a load. But for retired empty nesters like ourselves its perfect.

I LOVE IT

Submitted by Sterner - 2/7/2018

I love these Machines i bought it originally 3 years ago for my wife who was in a wheelchair and could not stand and I still use it now that she has passed 2 years. I love putting a load in when I go to bed and when i get up i have warm DRY clothing to get into it can take 3+ hours to do one load so if you are in a hurry it is not for you.The lint is a little gross you have to wipe it out but that is about the only thing there is some hot moist air that does come out of a breather i guess you would call it in the back remember to make sure you allow for airflowso if you put it in a cabinet like i did.I had a cabinet built to match my kitchen it now serves as a higher part of the island.I tell everyone about it and they cannot believe itIve even let people try it and they have bought there own this technology isnt new it has been around for at least 50 years so dont listen to someone who cries saying its to new itll never last.i would buy another one

Submitted by Faye2 - 2/6/2018

It sounded very easy and carefree machine but each time after the completion need to cleanup the vent. The clothes are dump and very much wrinkled so need to take out quickly and need ironing all. A more work if I compare to regular dryer mashine. I wish it had wrinkle free function.

So far so good

Submitted by Mhooper - 2/3/2018

We downsized to a small townhome and wanted to relocate the laundry to the second floor. With very limited space this was a good option. I have only used it twice but both times with clothes and towels. We installed a small exhaust fan in advance because of feedback about dampness. We dont see that as much as heat buildup and the exhaust fan helps with that. It is louder than I thought as we have it behind a solid wood door but not terrible. The operation options will take a bit to learn but it functions well. We have it directly on the floor not elevated on the storage drawer and everything comes out dry. It takes a while but with just two of us that is not an issue. We recommend it so far

Very reliable machine

Submitted by bpresz - 1/22/2018

I did my research prior to purchasing this washer so I did 3 things to alleviate the problems others had mentioned: 1Purchased the pedestal 2Made sure that the drain pipe connection was lower than the top of the washer and 3At the end of each load I take a moment literally seconds less than a minute to empty the drain hose located behind the little door on the lower left front of the machine into a plastic container which is kept in the pedestal drawer. I might also clean the drain pump filter also behind the little door at the same time. Putting the machine on the pedestal allows much better access to the drain hose which facilitates draining it after every load and this is the key to clothes drying completely. Worth mentioning the capacity of the dryer is less than that of the washer so overloading the washer could result in clothes not drying properly. Ive been using this machine for several months and I am very happy with its performance. Would recommend it to others. We especially appreciated that it does not require venting to the outdoors nor does it require a 220 plug.

Great combo washer/dryer saves space super quiet

Submitted by ArmandXP - 1/14/2018

I bought this due to I live in a very small park model home at around 500 square feet. I have no more regular hookups in my breaker box and would have to hire an electrician to upgrade the breaker box to add anything that uses higher voltage. I decided to get a washer/dryer for my home and came across this model from LG. I have a screened in porch on the side of my home and decided this would work great here. Most people in my community have sheds for their washer/dryers. I already have a power outlet outside just had a plumber tap into my hot and cold lines and add a water discharge line through the sewer lines. Took less than an hour. I installed the rest from when the product was delivered. I hooked up the water and power which was a breeze and made sure my water outlet was very low to the ground so water could leave the washer/dryer easier and it would help with the drying cycle. I also installed this unit on one of the stands and then a mini washer stackable from LG. Made the unit very tall which is great for me since Im very tall easier to load clothes into. Ive used this product for a few months now and have had absolutely no problems with it. If you over load it with tons of clothes yes it will take longer to dry your clothes. I usually put a load in up to half of the drum and it washes and dries perfectly for me. I never check to see how much time is left I just go out and get my clothes a couple hours later and they are usually done. Ive put large comforters tons of blankets and other bulky items and have dried them and havent had the first problem that a lot of others are speaking about. I really think that the exhaust water hose really does need to be closer to ground lever to not have any problems. I read all the reviews and did this before installing and it worked perfectly. My clothes come out exceptionally clean never have stains always smell great I use the beads in the washing drum tide and fabric softener on every load. Ive left clothes in the tub for four or five days and have came back and there is no mildew or no standing water smell. I live in Florida and my unit is on a screened in porch and gets pretty warm in the summer time and hasnt affected any of the cleaning results. I hope this unit last a long long time and if it does when I need any upgrades I will definitely choose LG

Love this machine but...

Submitted by ellis2871 - 1/7/2018

I bought mine over 2 years ago and have been very happy happy with the exception of having to replace the pump not once but twice. The unit is very easy to use and does have a little bit of a learning curve coming from a standard washer and dryer. After a little experimenting I can was and dry a load in about 3 hours with no wrinkles. I really like the different cycles and with small children the allergen and sanitary cycles come in very handy. I looked for a unit that had a large capacity and LG is the only one I could find that had the features and capacity that I was looking for .

We liked the concept of the combo had only read reviews. We dicided to try this washer/dryer combo. We love the way we can do delicates and perma press with great results. It really does not take as long for load as we thought it would. Being vent free gave us the freedom we needed. So very HAPPY

I was happy at first but...

Submitted by Nalani - 12/28/2017

I received my washer/dryer combo on October 28 and it took a few uses before I was happy with my finished laundry. After reading reviews I was able to figure out how to have wrinkle free clothes and I was very happy that I purchased this combo machine. But two weeks ago the machine started leaking from the bottom and I cant figure out the problem. I did everything the manual said to do in the trouble section but its still leaking. Its a very expensive machine so I didnt expect to have problems after six weeks of use doing three loads a week. If fnot for that problem I would say I love the machine. I havent called for service yet I guess Im hoping itll stop leaking.

Worth the wait

Submitted by elm1270 - 12/22/2017

We purchased this unit from Lowes on 10/22/17 with the matching pedestal. It arrived on 12/08/17. Our unit was originally arranged to discharge into the standard PVC laundry standpipe. During the test load we discovered this would not do. The discharge overwhelmed the carrying capacity of the standpipe. After wiping up the water on the flooor the discharge was redirected into the laundry tub sink solving the volume/capacity issue. This machine has so far exceeded our expectations. It is great at cleaning and drying not as fast as a conventional. The second load washed was a king size poly filled comforter. Bulky setting more dry. It came out fresh and fluffy. So after testing capacity with the comforter our next load was work clothes dirty from construction work. Outstanding showing on the grime Next up was towels. Again a wonderful job. King sized sheet set on Allergiene setting just to test the steam function. Amazing Weve never had a machine that steamed. I cant imagine not having this feature. Its nearly magical. It removed a stain that had been on one of the pillow cases forever. White socks and jockey shorts followed. Awesome results So now that we are two weeks into ownership and have used every cycle repeatedly we can state unequivocally that while pricey this unit is worth it

Extreme Space Saver

Submitted by ChrissyinKC - 12/18/2017

I bought this about 6 months ago with no regrets. I was hestitant to buy thinking I would have to do super small loads of laundry and have it take more time. To do a wash cycle and a dry cycle without having to stop and change the load from washer to dryer saves me time I have three kids I am busy I love that I dont have to pay any attention to it after I start it. I was able to move my laundry center from the basement to my master bedroom closet. No need to install vents. I love the ten year warranty as well. Overall this machine may be a bit ahead of its time in terms of people not knowing it exists but I believe this is the future of laundry. I saved money by buying one machine and saved space.

Works great in Colorado

Submitted by ColoradoFamily - 12/16/2017

Adjusting the drain pipe and correctly loading our clothes fixed the damp clothes issue. There was a burnt smell the first few times but went away within a month. Yes because it uses a lower voltage to dry clothes expect it to take longer. We usually hang our clothes to dry in the sun still but if its raining or its something bulky like bedding we like not having to move it from the washer to a dryer. And with the dry Midwest air in Colorado we welcome the humidity this puts into our house. Even though it is an HE machine make sure you make it a full load because it still uses quite a bit of water depending on the mode used. I emailed LG and they gave me the estimated gallons used per mode: Sanitary Wash Total: 26.42 Bright Whites Total: 57.06 Bulky BeddingTotal: 61.29 Heavy Duty Total: 17.17 Perm. Press/Casual Total: 38.57 Cotton/NormalTotal: 17.17 Baby Wear Total: 38.57 Towels Total: 38.57 Sportswear Total: 38.57 Pure Color Total: 38.57 Speed Wash Total: 38.57 Wool Wash Total: 38.57 Delicates Wash Total: 38.57

Exactly what we needed

Submitted by Pugg90 - 12/10/2017

We bought this because there was nowhere in our basement to vent a dryer. Ill never go back to a separate washer and dryer after using it. The convenience of loading and unloading one machine one time and never having to worry about uneven or over-drying is worth every penny this costs. It produces a lot of lint through the drain hose so a lint catcher is a must. Other reviews said a pedestal is necessary so weve always had one and I cant say how it functions without it. Wiping down the rubber seal after every load is more annoying than cleaning out a standard lint trap but totally worth the extra minute or two it takes. Cleaning out the lint filter at the bottom every month is effortless. Weve only had it for a month or two and havent encountered any problems. I do find myself doing laundry more frequently due to its smaller drying capacity but its not the tedious process it used to be with two separate machines. I load it push one button for my custom settings and come back later to a finished load of laundry. Id buy it again a hundred times.

odor

Submitted by cap10 - 11/16/2017

Unit does as advertised. The washer and dryer in one box fits my small space. Many great washer features that do well. I knew the drying would take longer. That is not an issue for me. The clothes do come out very wrinkled no matter what settings Ive tried. The worst issue is the funky odor when drying. Using max softener seems to help but not solve issue. If not for that issue I would give unit a super rating.

Dry. all in one. They dont complain anymore to do their chore.

Best laundry machine I have ever had

Submitted by drkd - 11/5/2017

I have had this washer/dryer for 1 month. I will never go back to a separate washer and dryer. I am able to put a load of laundry in before going to work every morning and its dry when I come home 11 hours later. No more marathon laundry days for me. A little each day and I can easily stay on top of it. I have not experienced the odor that is common with front load washers. I leave the door open after the last load of laundry comes out to let the machine dry out. I also drain the tubing after the last load of the day. If I take the laundry out as soon as its done the clothes feel humid dry. 1 good shake and it feels dry. If I get to it later in the day everything feels dry when I take it out. The only regret I have is not getting the pedestal when I got this unit. The little door on the bottom front left if the machine is where the tubing is that you have to drain. If it were up on a pedestal it would be easier. The machine is too heavy to get the pedestal now and try to get the machine up onto it.

Surprised to love it so much

Submitted by evalynnh - 10/26/2017

I decided on this combo unit because of space limitations for a washer of this size. I had read the negative reviews and was a bit skeptical but went ahead. They have been so common in Europe for years that I was not at all worried about reliability. I have had the unit for 8 months now. My only complaint is that the side buttons do not light up so in my somewhat dark location I have to use a flashlight to see. Thats it. I love the option of putting my clothes in and taking them out ready to hang up. Or can stop at wash sort out the items that dont go through the dryer and then go on to dry the rest. It is odd to finish the drying cycle open the door to see water in the rim take the clothes out feeling a little damp. Then all I do is shake the item and it is dry -- magic Guess because of the venting inside there is a slight sheen of moisture on the outside that just shakes away. At this point even if I had the space for 2 units I would go for the combo.

We live in a condo where there is no way to properly vent a dryer. This machine was the solution we were looking for. Yes it takes longer to dry your clothes than a traditional dryer but it sure beats having all your laundry air drying all over your home. I love all the different settings and energy efficiancy.

Submitted by indyjan49 - 10/20/2017

Bought this machine in lieu of a stackable combo washer/dryer after researching combo units and Im so happy I did. We have moved into a condo and need to utilize as much economy of scale as possible. This unit more than fills the bill plus does a fantastic job with everything we have given it to handle. Just washed a queen mattress pad and it came out clean dry and looked like new. There is a learning curve with this way of doing laundry but it is totally worth the time and effort to get there. People who visit probably think Im weird when I proudly show off our fabulous washer/dryer combo

I Love It

Submitted by Hedwall - 9/27/2017

Before I chose an all-in-one machine everyone I talked to either LOVED these or HATED them there was no in between. So I took a chance thinking that this large unit might be appropriate for my small two-person household. And you know what it really has been The main complaints seemed to have been much longer cycle times and clothes not getting dry enough. To address long cycles I just changed my timing so now instead of washing everything quickly on the weekends I put my loads in in the morning before I go to work and theyre all done by the time I get home. As for clothes not getting dry enough this very simply has not been an issue although admittedly I live in a very dry climate too. Hanging thick blankets up for 15-30 minutes after they come out fixes any hint of even partially damp items and I definitely dont need to take any special action on everyday clothing loads. I havent noticed that wrinkles are significantly worse with this machine and my new habits than they ever were under my old system either. Plus I feel better about washing smaller loads more often due to the automatic efficiency of the machine and it qualified for a partial rebate through my local water district. My cautions before purchasing an all-in-one would be that the hookups for this needed to be so different from my old stackable that it was almost like new construction permits labor etc. so it was very expensive to install. If you are already starting from scratch this would not be an issue for you. I also have not been able to determine if my overall energy costs have been affected by this machine as the cycles run much longer than with externally vented units however there have been other possible causes for my bills lately so in any case the difference has not been drastic enough that I regret buying this nifty convenient machine. Did I mention that I got literally half the closet back in storage space because its so much smaller than having two units??? Overall I am very happy and I have definitely recommended it to all of my impressed friends

Takes forever to dry cleaning lint is gross

Submitted by Julie G in North Carolina - 9/26/2017

Bought this Washer/Dryer combo for a small space - thought Itd be perfect for our mudroom/laundry room. This machine is horrible I gave it a real try and waited til I used for 6 full months before writing a review. If you need to put anything damp back in the dryer it seems to confuse the machine. Ive wasted countless hours after trying to dry a blanket or something and when I put it in for 30 minutes to get rid of the dampness I end up with a soaking wet item instead of drying it. Cleaning the lint is almost impossible and its really gross how it gets stuck in every crack of the door seal. Clothes wrinkle or smell bad to boot Very unhappy with this. After spending a lot of money on this washer/dryer combo I wish I just bought a stackable. I personally found LG customer service to be horrible on this machine too. Bought 6 appliances and 2 have issues - when I call for service I was told sorry it is functioning fine. Really unhappy with that after the money I spent.

The machine works well but it takes some learning and experimentation to get the results wanted from drying taking clothes out damp avoiding over-drying avoiding wrinkling compared to our previous separate washer and dryer units. Also the combined wash/dry cycle is longer than previously owned laundry appliances

Simple and Easy

Submitted by Carminesue - 9/25/2017

I purchased the LG washer/dryer combo about 2 months ago. Since I live in a 600 sq. ft. home I needed as small an appliance as possible. This allowed me to have storage above the appliance so that I had room for detergents and other cleaning products. I love the fact that it is simple to operate plus there is no need to take clothes out of one machine to put in another. Clothes seem to be cleaner than in a regular washer and softer when dried. The only problem that I have noticed is that if you have a larger load it takes longer to dry. It is energy efficient and I would definitely recommend it to others
